It Is Incredible What These Women Are Accomplishing!
Meet A Few Of The Now Close To 300 Members Of The Women Who Care of the Greater Owosso Area.
Owosso, Mi. - It all started in January 2016, when Cindy Schluckebier, Sue Ludington, Lisa Hood, and Becky Hartnagle sat down together and found that they all shared a vision. A vision that asked the question of what impact for the good of the community could be accomplished if the 4 of them tossed into a basket $100.00 apiece, and then vote to give it to one local charity. The question was then asked, “what if 20 women got together or 50 or what about 100?”
Their vision became reality when they named their group 100+ Women Who Care of the Greater Owosso area. The 4 of them started sharing their vision with other women and soon they had 100 women come together and then it grew to 200 now in only 6 years they have grown to have close to 300 women that get together, and listen to pitches from local nonprofit charities and organizations. There is a vote then taken and the winner receives the money collected.
